Our work is vital to ensure children and youth in underserved communities are protected, informed, and empowered with opportunities to build safe, dignified, and self-reliant futures.
Sambhav Trust, established on 17 July 2023, is a grassroots organization based in Jharkhand, India, working in rural and semi-urban communities to empower children, adolescents, and youth. We strive to create safe and inclusive environments where young individuals can realize their full potential with dignity and confidence. Recognizing that challenges in education, safety, and opportunities are interconnected, we adopt a holistic approach to address them collectively. Our work focuses on strengthening child protection systems, providing career guidance, and improving access to education and scholarships. We also empower adolescents and youth through life skills, leadership development, and active community engagement. Through close collaboration with schools, families, and local institutions, we aim to build resilient communities where every young person has the opportunity to shape a better and more secure future.

Government Scheme Documentation Assistance Camp
We organized a documentation assistance camp to help eligible citizens complete and update the necessary documents required for availing various government welfare schemes. During the camp, community members were guided on application procedures, document verification, and access to benefits related to education, scholarships, health services, pensions, and other social welfare programs. The initiative aimed to spread awareness, simplify the documentation process, and support marginalized families in accessing their rights and government entitlements.
Scholarship Support Program
The Scholarship Support Program, launched in 2024 in partnership with Buddy4Study, aims to help rural and tribal students overcome financial barriers to education. The program provides awareness sessions, application assistance, and documentation support to ensure students can access available scholarships. It addresses challenges such as low awareness, digital barriers, and complex processes that often prevent deserving students from continuing their education. By supporting students after Class 10 and 12, the program reduces dropout rates and promotes higher education. Ultimately, it empowers first-generation learners to build better career opportunities and break the cycle of poverty.
UK India Interfaith Youth Leadership Programme
We organized the UK India Interfaith Youth Leadership Programme 2024 – Rubaroo at Science Academy, Torpa (Khunti), Opp. Reliance Trends, Torpa, on 11/02/2024 (Sunday) at 10:30 AM. The programme brought together young people from diverse backgrounds to promote leadership, mutual understanding, peacebuilding, and interfaith harmony. Through interactive sessions, discussions, and community engagement activities, participants were encouraged to develop leadership skills, respect diversity, and work collectively towards social change and inclusive community development.
